The old house sits nestled peacefully within our small working farm and commands panoramic views over the Ottery valley.
Dogs are welcome and our guests can enjoy the freedom to roam the surrounding countryside with walks along our lanes to the river and nearby woodland.
Children will love running through the fields to the river, skimming stones and paddling.
In Summer, set up the badminton net in the large garden, have a game of Cornish Smite, or simply sit and enjoy the view from the sheltered sunny terrace.
Watching the bats at dusk and gazing into our dark skies at night are also highly recommended.
We have board games and books inside, a harmonium if anyone has the stamina to play it and of course the warmth and pull of the great open fireplace in The Tudor Wing and the woodburner in The Longhouse.
”A beautiful house and setting. Lovely walk to the river. The boys loved skimming stones, building dams and messing around

Launceston Castle
Bude Sea Pool
Out and about we are perfectly located on the Cornwall / Devon border to be near both sea and moorland.
Our historic town of Launceston with its Norman Castle is only 10 minutes drive away, the bustling market town of Tavistock about 25 mins and beyond that the whole of Dartmoor.
It is a 20 minute drive to Bude, our nearest seaside town with its well maintained seapool, and then take your pick from the many long sandy beaches along the North Cornwall coast which are a surfers heaven.
Both National Trust properties of Cotehele and Lanhydrock are approximately half an hour away.
Whilst staying at Cullacott we provide information on where to eat out locally, at pubs, cafes and farm shops. We are always happy to help with local recommendations.
