Cullacott has been farmed and tended by our family for over 100 years.

John and Mary Mann arrived from West Cornwall in 1910. The flat bed wagon on which some of their furniture was transported is still in the open wagon house on the northern side of the cobbled courtyard.

Their granddaughter, Mary, along with her husband John Cole started the process of the sensitive restoration of the Medieval Longhouse in the 1990s and have been running the self-catering holiday cottages since 1997.

Their daughter, Sarah Cole, now manages the property, but it is still run as a family business and involves all members of the present family from time to time.

Thank you so much for a warm welcome and the opportunity to stay in such a fascinating and beautiful house. We have loved every minute.

What we offer at Cullacott gently evolves in response to changes in our family life and changing times.

Mary and John have guided many a History Group around the property in years past offering afternoon teas after a tour.

We have hosted numerous events from a small wedding gathering to Medieval Banquets, singing workshops to musical Charity Fundraisers, wedding anniversary lunches to birthday parties with Hog Roasts.

Painting retreats, sketch clubs and craft workshops are being planned for the future.
