Cullacott is ideally situated on the Devon and Cornwall border allowing you to explore
the delights of both counties. Alternatively just take it easy, relax and enjoy
the tranquil countryside.
Nearby Launceston exudes historical charm, explore this ancient capital of Cornwall
with its 11th century Norman Castle, 15th century carved granite church, narrow
streets and acclaimed museum.
Take a trip into the country on Launceston's narrow gauge steam railway, or walk
from Cullacott to the nearby Tamar Otter Park.

For the sporty, there are two excellent local golf courses and a short drive away,
the international grade St Mellion course.
Horse riding is available locally and on Dartmoor or Bodmin Moor. Whilst Roadford
and Sibleyback lakes offer windsurfing and sailing opportunities.

The rugged North Coast with its spectacular cliffs, beaches and charming coves,
is within 20 minutes drive. Crackington Haven, a favourite with our visitors, is
great for exploring rock pools, swimming and surfing.
Along the coast are the picturesque fishing villages of Tintagel, Boscastle, Port
Isaac and Padstow. You can cycle the Camel trail between Wadebridge and Padstow.

Local National Trust properties include Cotehele, Buckland Abbey, Anthony House,
Lanhydrock House, Castle Drogo, Saltram House, Killerton and Knightshayes.
For the horticulturally minded, explore the Lost Gardens of Helligan, the famous
Eden Project or the recently restored Endsleigh Gardens.
